“Russia’s foreign colleagues, including those from the United States and France, expressed their interest in Russian vaccine against Ebola,” the head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-Being Anna Popova said to RIA Novosti on Wednesday.
“The interest came from the United States during the visit of their ambassador to Russia, the interest was shown at the leadership level of the Pasteur Institute in Paris,” Popova said.
“We also discussed the issue of vaccination at the meetings of this conference of experts from the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) countries, heads of the services and experts from BRICS countries. The interest is really big,” she added.
11 January the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin at his meeting with members of the government announced that the vaccine against Ebola had been registered, which was claimed to be much more effective than existing drugs.
