China will allocate to Syria more than 6 million dollars for humanitarian aid

Published on

China will allocate to the Syrian government more than 40 million yuans (about 6.2 million dollars) for humanitarian aid.

That was reported by Tass news agency, according to the results of the talks between Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Walid Muallem.

“We will provide humanitarian aid to Syria. As I have just said in a conversation with my Syrian counterpart, China has decided to provide 40 million yuans for additional humanitarian aid”, the head of the Chinese Foreign Ministry said.

Walid Muallem arrived in China at the invitation of the Chinese side on December 23 for a three-day visit.
