Moscow claims that the Turkish accusations of Russia’s military ethnic cleansing in Syria are absolutely baseless.

The spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova said that there was no need to comment on such statements of the Turkish side, as they speak about the complete ignorance of the Turkish government, their misunderstanding of what has been happening in the region. ‘All this sounds not the first time’, she added.

“Basically, it is rehash of the motives which are constantly being mentioned by the head of this state, then they are taken up by different “performers” at different levels and are being retold in varying interpretation’, Zakharova explained.

‘These unworthy statements, baseless accusations speak for themselves’, the representative of the Ministry summed up.
