The Caucasian Muslims Office, one of the leading Muslim organizations in the CIS (the Commonwealth of Independent States), supports Russia’s military actions in Syria against ISIS and hopes for the ultimate success of the operation, according to Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pasha-Zade, the chairman of the Caucasian Muslims Office.
‘Today it is necessary to confront the spread of certain forces of religious fanaticism and extremism from abroad or inside the country . It is important to take preventive measures to control the plans of the terrorists who threaten the stability of our space which they view as the next target,’ Pashazade said during the VIII International research and practice conference ‘The ideals and values of Islam in the educational space of the XXI century’ in Ufa.
