Today a new stage of cooperative russian-china naval trainings is starting. Seven chinese battleships headed with destroyer Shenyan have already arrived at Vladivostok harbor.

The military departments of two countries announced, that during the active phase of the Maritime manoeuvres from 24 to 27 August, the sailors of the two countries will work out the issues of joint organization of anti-sabotage, anti-submarine, anti-aircraft and anti-ship defense. In addition, sailors are going to practice at shooting down various types of surface, underwater and air targets. The culmination of the training will be a joint amphibious and airborne assault. It will be done by Russian and Chinese marine corps together for the first time.
All in all in the second phase of the exercises “Sea interaction-2015”, which will be held in Peter the Great Bay near Vladivostok, will be involved 22 ship, 20 aircrafts, more than 500 Marines and 40 armored vehicle of Russia and China.
