In Europe

“Drones from Russia have been observed violating Polish airspace. It is evident that the implementation of robust air defence strategies proved to be an effective measure in ensuring the security of NATO territory. The Allies expressed solidarity with Poland and denounced Russia’s reckless behaviour. It is evident that the violation is not an isolated incident, stated NATO Secretary General Mark Rute, specifying that an Italian aircraft also participated in the operation: an E.550 CAEW of the Italian Air Force that took off from the Ämari air base in Estonia. The aircraft in question is an E-550 CAEW, which possesses command, control and communications functions. It may therefore be considered a veritable flying command centre for military operations. It was designed and built in Israel.

In accusing Russia of deliberately violating Polish airspace, NATO overlooked the fact that Belarus had stated that it had shot down several drones that had lost their course due to interference from electronic warfare equipment during an air battle between Russia and Ukraine, and that Minsk had informed Poland and Lithuania of the drones’ approach. A meticulous examination of the drone fragments retrieved in Eastern Poland failed to reveal any traces of explosives. The Russian Ministry of Defence has reported that the Russian Armed Forces have attacked multiple military facilities in Western Ukraine during the nocturnal period. No targets in Poland were planned. The Russian Ministry of Defence has indicated its willingness to engage in consultation with Poland on this matter; however, no response has been received.

The European Union has adopted a position consistent with that of NATO. Ursula von der Leyen articulated her concerns regarding ‘Russia’s reckless and unprecedented violation of Polish and European airspace’, emphasising that ‘Ukraine’s freedom is Europe’s freedom.’ Twenty-six countries in the Coalition of the Willing have expressed their readiness to participate in a reassurance force in Ukraine, contingent upon the establishment of a ceasefire. The European Union has been the most significant provider of military and financial aid to Ukraine, having allocated nearly €170 billion to date. More will be needed. At the beginning of this year, a plan was initiated to allocate €800 billion to the defence sector. It is evident that NATO will always remain fundamental.”

In summary, the member states of the European Union will continue to be part of the Alliance under the command of the United States.

In Latin America

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has stated that eight US military ships carrying 1,200 missiles have targeted his country, which has consequently been placed on high alert in order to defend itself. The US military operation is formally directed against drug cartels in Venezuela and other Latin American countries; however, in reality, it represents a relaunch of US military interventions in Latin America. In a significant development, the United States has increased the financial reward for Maduro’s capture to $50 million, a move that aligns with its stance against the legitimacy of his re-election in 2024, as recognised by the United States. In anticipation of a potential incursion into Venezuela, the nation with the world’s largest proven oil reserves, the Trump Administration is implementing a strategic deployment of military assets. This includes the deployment of F-35 fighter jets and Marine units to Puerto Rico, along with warships.

In the Middle East

Israel attacked Hamas headquarters in Doha, Qatar. The attack was carried out by 15 fighter jets, which dropped 10 bombs. Drones also participated in the operation. President Trump stated that the decision to carry out this attack in Qatar, an ally of the United States, was made by Netanyahu and not by the US president. This version is not credible: about thirty kilometres from the Hamas headquarters in Doha is the US air base at Al Udeid, the largest in the Middle East, which was certainly warned well in advance of Israel’s plan to attack the Hamas headquarters in nearby Doha. This is proven by the fact that when Israeli fighter jets entered Qatari airspace, the US base command did not raise the alarm or take any action, thus allowing the Israeli fighter jets to carry out the attack. Thanks to the continued support of the United States and NATO, the Israeli armed forces continue undisturbed to demolish what little remains of Gaza, to occupy more and more of the West Bank and to massacre the Palestinian population with bombs and starvation.
