Following US President Donald Trump's threat of imposing a tougher economic blockade on Venezuela, President Nicolas Maduro countered with decrying all ways of US intervention in this Latin American country.

Maduro said that during the last few months, the US government has already deepened an economic war against Venezuela, which includes illegal sanctions, confiscation of the country's assets abroad, and a dollar ban that prevents imports and free trade.

Maduro claims his country has progressively gotten prepared to endure an ongoing US blockade so its negative consequences will be overcome.

Experts say throughout his 6-year-long stay in the presidency, Maduro has consistently sustained his ant imperialist stance.

In turn, opposition leaders urge the US to launch a full-scale blockade against Maduro's Government and on the revolutionary side, officials slam opposition leaders.

Meanwhile, analysts say a tougher US blockade will not oust Maduro.

Caracas continues to decry all threats from Washington, claiming they are based on a regime change policy that will not succeed because most Venezuelans reject the US meddling.
