Irans President Hassan Rouhani on Saturday urged Muslims worldwide to unite against what he described as the hostile policies of the United States as well as Israel. Rouhani told an annual conference on Muslim unity that the Islamic nations have no way but to remain united in face of the plots devised by their common enemies. The Iranian president also said that unity and brotherhood among Islamic countries must be assumed as a duty. He, however, pointed out that unity cannot be achieved through words but it requires collective action. Rouhanis remarks once again brought into the spotlight the threats posed against Muslims by the camp of hostile forces that include the US and Israel.
