Uganda parliament has called for immediate arrest and prosecution of security officers who have allegedly tortured opposition lawmakers. This comes as the government is under mounting pressure to explain the circumstances under which several opposition MPs were severely tortured during a disputed by-election. Our correspondent Daniel Arapmoi spoke to Uganda’s legislators and rights groups and filed this report.
