The Kremlin are working on a possible meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry. This was announced by Dmitry Peskov, the Press Secretary of the Russian President.
According to Peskov, the exact time for the talks has not been appointed yet.
“Indeed, the possibility that the President will Mr. Kerry, worked out,” confirmed the press Secretary of the Russian leader.
The representative of the American diplomacy will arrive in Moscow on July 14. Kerry will meet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov. They are going to discuss policy issues of compliance with the silence regime in Syria. Earlier, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Moscow would demand that the ceasefire did not extend over Islamic state (and “Jabhat al-Nusra”, which are banned in Russia.
Last time the U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry visited Moscow this spring. A proposal to hold the talks with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov and Russian President Vladimir Putin was initiated by the American government.
