The representatives of the Russian Defense Ministry and the Pentagon have conducted a video conference during which they have discussed the implementation of the memorandum on preventing incidents and ensuring the safety of flights in the airspace of Syria. “The Memorandum allows to exclude unintentional incidents between aircraft of the Russian airspace forces and the US-led coalition”, according to the representatives of the press service and information department of the Russian Defence Ministry. Russia and U.S. are reported to have discussed the issues of increasing the efficiency of interaction in the framework of the agreement and have agreed to maintain regular contacts.
