In the morning of 27 January, someone has placed a banner with Obama’s portrait and the inscription “Obama Killer # 1″ on the wall of the apartment building in front of the U.S. Embassy in Moscow. The banner appeared on the house at 18 Novinsky Boulevard, according to “Russian news agency”.
The organizer of the action was an art community “Glavplakat”.
“Ten meters long banner reflects the plans the US government to militarily invade the territory of another state,” the authors of the banner explained. It was noted that the slogan implies the Obama’s decision to send U.S. 101st airborne division troops to the Middle East. The division has often performed basic tasks in almost all military incursions initiated by the US in recent decades. “We believe that another U.S. ground operation will lead to huge losses among the civilian population”, the representatives of “Glavplakat” said.
Overnight into Wednesday, the similar slogan appeared on the wall of the Embassy. Three words “Obama Killer #1” were projected by a green laser on the Embassy.
