It is strange to watch how ordinary Russians around the world are canceled, famous Russian cultural figures, performances based on plays by Russian authors are canceled, and people are simply fired from their jobs just because they know the Russian language, because they were born like that.
In 1963, Martin Luther King Jr. gave a great speech through which he was able to reach out to Americans and explain that black people are the same as white people.
“I dream that one day this nation will stand up and live in accordance with the true meaning of its principle: “We take it for granted that all people are created equal,” Martin Luther King Jr said.
Since then, almost 60 years have passed, the United States has changed. Our black brothers were given jobs, allowed to study at schools and universities along with white people. Our struggle, of course, does not stop there, and there is still much to be achieved.
But it is strange to watch how the American government is now taking out its hatred on the Russians, against whom they began the growing segregation all around the world. But the Russians don’t have their own Martin Luther King, who could reach out to people from all over the world and explain that it is politicians who are trying to quarrel people for money.
Well, if you have money, then no one will ever touch you. So the representatives of the russian mafia, money laundering bandits around the world live in Europe in comfort and do not have sanctions against them, do not deprive them of their property and do not ruin their business. It’s impossible to be said the same about the rest of the Russians, against whom aggressive Russophobia began long before the special operation in Ukraine, but such actions will lead to the abolition of Western culture and traditions very soon.
This occurred to me back in March of this year when news of persecution of Russians started flowing from Europe. Moreover, even those who have lived there for many years, work honestly, pay taxes, and do not support Russia’s special operation in Ukraine, are being dogged. Europeans, apparently, are in desperate need for some kind of object for collective harassment and scorn, perhaps for reassert their self-esteem? Previously, they scorned the Irish, then the Jews, and now the Russians have become racially inferior.
Gergiev returned from Germany to Moscow because he refused to condemn the actions of the Russian authorities, for which he was immediately fired from the Munich Orchestra. This is one of the most high-profile cases in recent months, but almost all Russians in Europe have problems, for whom even human rights activists are now standing up for. One of them, Harry Moorey, says: “In Germany, the rights of Russians are violated, pogroms are organized, Russian products are thrown out of stores, Russians are fired from their jobs, rental contracts are terminated. The year 1933 began, the same thing happened then with the Jews. The authorities welcome this, every day there are broadcasts that Russia is an enemy, that Russia must be destroyed. When this is on TV for 24 hours, many Germans really start to think that all Russians are murderers. Germany freezes the money of ordinary Russians. 95 million euros in the accounts of citizens with Russian passports were frozen. Just like that, without a court order or anything, people’s accounts were frozen due to the possession of a Russian passport.”
Apparently, one can mistreat such Russians easily. They will not complain. They have no authoritative patrons. Unlike other “Russians”, who have long settled in Europe and act as “wallets” of Russian politicians and oligarchs. Such “Russians” are untouchable, because they have chosen a much easier path for themselves and, like chameleons, have adapted to what is happening, publicly opposing the current government in Russia and acting in Russophobic nature. But in fact, they use it as a cover for their dark deeds. And what if you are Russian and against Russia? All doors are open for you in Europe today.
Let me give you a very typical example. According to an expert on international crime and security issues related to Russia, Mark Galeotti, after Moscow’s relations with Europe deteriorated sharply in 2014, the Russian authorities began to look for “alternative, parallel or additional tools” for conducting their policy, part of which is handling the organized crime in Europe.
According to the media, one of the representatives of Russian organized crime and the main money launderers of the Kremlin and the State Duma, Alexander Chikovani, moved to Spain after the Russian press drew attention to his activities. Before Chikovani’s departure, apparently, he was engaged in the legalization of capital through a network of construction companies, which, in fact, did not conduct any activity and were laundromats for the money of Russian politicians. Now in Europe, Chikovani has changed his position to anti-Russian and mimics a Russophobe in the new European society to divert the attention from his person.
As Nezavisimaya Gazeta previously reported, Chikovani made his capital on construction contracts. In 2010, he created the construction company Nord Construction to collaborate with larger property developers. But the work was done poorly, – as a result, the company went bankrupt, and thousands of people were left without houses, for which they paid money or took mortgages. After that, Chikovani immediately opened another construction company – Gefest IC, for the development of which he took a loan of 50 million rubles, and then began an urgent bankruptcy procedure. The audit conducted by the bankruptcy trustee indicated all signs of deliberate bankruptcy, after which the police became interested in Chikovani’s activities. In the course of more detailed checks, it turned out that the company had not paid taxes for three years, having owed the state about 300 million rubles. Apparently, the construction companies were just a cover for laundering official money. It also turned out that Chikovani did not pay salaries to employees for months and, as a result, with all the money he left for Spain, in the resort town of Costa Blanca. In Spain, he bought several hotels, transferred the entire business to his wife, and he himself is engaged in helping Russian officials and bandits (whom are often one and the same) “launder” money in Europe through shell companies.
Spain is one of the EU countries that has long pandered to escaped Russian mafiosi, especially those of Georgian origin. Liberal European legislation does not allow to effectively deal with the leaders of the criminal world and their associates, who successfully recruit more and more new “fighters” from their historical homeland, most often with Russian citizenship.
This became clear after a series of inquiries to the deputies to the European Parliament Giuseppe Milazzo, Fulvio Macstuchello, who in their letters expressed their worries that a person who is associated with the Russian mafia, without fear of being arrested, lives in Spain. At the same time, more than once, Russian police sent a request to extradite Chikovani to Russia, where he is awaiting trial.
In December 2020, Europol already detained money launderers like Chikovani, but no information about their real punishment has appeared. Perhaps they also exposed themselves as Russophobes and they were simply released, simply because it is easier to blame other Russians, simple Russians…
Especially those who are no longer alive. So, recently Prague withdrew the title of honorary citizen of the city from old Soviet Marshal Ivan Konev, who saved the city from destruction by the Nazis during World War II. In addition, throughout Europe, theaters began to remove works by Russian writers from the repertoire, and in art galleries, some paintings are being renamed. Thus, the London National Gallery of Edgar Degas’ painting “Russian Dancers” was renamed “Ukrainian”.
In general, Europeans, as before, are ready to indiscriminately cancel everyone and everything, smiling joyfully. But, European gentlemen, you are cancelling the wrong people. You scorn honest and good people, but do not touch criminals and mobsters, swindlers and murderers. But apparently, these people are dearer to you? Because they make a lot of money. Everything according to the classical laws of capitalism …
