Israel shares US President Donald Trump’s commitment to peace and extends its hand in peace to the Palestinians, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Monday.
Earlier on Monday, Trump arrived in Israel following a visit to Saudi Arabia over the weekend. This is Trump’s first foreign visit as the US president.
“Mr president, Israel also shares your commitment to peace that you expressed yesterday. We already made peace with Egypt and with Jordan, and Israel’s hand is extended in peace to all our neighbours, including the Palestinians,” Netanyahu said welcoming Trump to Israel.
