The Ukrainian military open fire more often.
“Rare violations of the ceasefire in the Donbass occur from both parties of the conflict, but they are not widespread, and we need to study every single case to undestand who is to blame,” the spokesperson of the Kremlin Dmitry peskov says.
“As the number of violations grows, there is always a danger of the conflict escalation. But it is impossible to make further steps without following what is written in the Minsk agreements,” Peskov says. He has stressed again that the Ukrainian side has not fulfilled the undertaken obligations of the Minsk agreements.
Earlier, at a meeting of the “Normandy format” Foreign Ministers Sergey Lavrov said that the ministers had considered the reports of the OSCE monitoring mission, which documents the violation from Donbass and Ukrainian sides.
Armed conflict in the East of Ukraine began in April 2014. Military actions in Donbass began with the anti-terrorist operation which was approved by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. Since the beginning of the operation, more than 9,000 people have been killed in Donbass, including military, militias and civilians, according to the UN official data.
