“Western countries have not provided Russia with intelligence data about the location of terrorists in Syria. However, they continue to criticize the actions of Russian air-space forces,” the official representative of the Defense Ministry Igor Konashenkov said. “Russian maps were accepted by the West with gratitude,” he added.
“And there is still no answer from them. Today they criticize us that we fly in wrong directions and bomb wrong targets. So why not to send us new maps?”, Konashenkov says.
According to Konashenkov, the messages from western countries say that they try not to notice terrorists in Syria, and they believe there is only “democracy” and “civil opposition” on the territories which are not controlled by the Syrian government.
