Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov and his US counterpart John Kerry agreed to meet in Zurich on January 20. They will discuss the settlement of the Syrian crisis and the conflict in Ukraine.
The meeting will be mostly focused on the situation in Syria, taking into account the fact that Russia and the United States are actively involved in this process, and are co-chairs “of the Vienna format, “the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova reported.
“Let’s hope that the meeting will be constructive for the overall process of the settlement of Syrian crisis”, she added.
