In east China’s Shandong Province, the accident occurred at a gypsum mine. As a result, twenty workers were blocked under the ground.
About a hundred of rescuers arrived at the accident site. They are trying to clear rubbles away and get to the miners, according RIA Novosti and local media.
The collapse caused so powerful tremors of the ground that Chinese seismologists recorded earthquake oscillations at the level of four points. Above the crumbling mine dips in the soil are spotted, as well as cracks on all the roads around.
We hope the miners are alive and will be released soon.
