The negotiations of the foreign ministers lasted for an hour and a half.

At the moment  Lavrov is negotiating with Nasser Judeh, the Foreign Minister of Jordan, in the format of working lunch.

Lavrov and Kerry discussed the Syrian crisis, actions of the international coalition under the auspices of the United States and the Russian air operation in Syria at the request of Damascus.

According to the Russian newspaper Izvestia, Lavrov will also hold talks with Feridun Sinirlioğlu, the Foreign Minister of Turkey, as well as with his counterpart from Saudi Arabia Adel al-Jubeir.

The Russian government called on all countries interested in resolving of the Syrian crisis to participate in negotiations. According to the plan of the Russian Federation, in this format of negotiations Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Jordan, and Staffan de Mistura, the United Nations special envoy for the Syria crisis should be invited.
