Terrorists operating  in Syria are not going to calm down: they are going to carry out their expansion outside Syria and destabilize the situation in many regions. Russian soldiers who attempt to help Syrian government to eliminate terrorism in Syria are courageous people. This was said by the Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin at the presentation ceremony of the senior officers appointed to command assignment.

‘We see that the global situation is far from stable. We all know that the global danger is international terrorism. Having established a foothold in Syria and other countries in the Middle East, the terrorists have built and continue to build the expansion plans to destabilize entire regions ,’ Putin said.

It is noted that Russia’s role in the Syrian crisis is to prevent the expansion of terrorism. And Russia is ready to deal effectively with the problem.

‘In order to take preventive measures, Russia has begun its military operation in Syria. As a result of the operation it was confirmed that Russia was ready to adequately and effectively respond to terrorist and any other threat to our country ,’ the Russian President said.
