During the last two days a small city in southern China was struck by a series of 18 explosions(!) leaving at least seven people killed and more than 50 injured, officials and state media have said. There is a suspicion that a massive provocative attack has been conducted against China for the last few months.
In mid-August China was struck by a massive explosion at the chemical plant, which killed at least 50 people and injured more than 700. Now the country is apparently under the attack of mini-bombing. A local Communist party newspaper, the Guangxi Daily, cited police as saying there were 17 explosions in Liuzhou, in Liucheng county. The explosions affected a local hospital, urban markets, a shopping center, a bus station and several government buildings, including prisons and dormitories for officials.
Today, there was one more explosion in the southern Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China. All the bombs were in parcels sent by mail.
It is not clear whether these explosions are connected with that terrible explosion at the chemical plant in August. Though we shouldn’t exclude this. Nowadays China, like Russia, is under attack from a number of Western countries which do not want Russia and China to strengthen their geopolitical positions. Especially after the head of the Chinese Foreign Ministry said that China should support Russia in its fight against ISIS in Syria. Earlier China supported the regime of legitimately elected Syrian president Bashar al-Assad, alongside with Russia and Iran.
