Poroshenko and Merkel rejected the creation of a new format of negotiations on the Donbass.

According to the Minsk agreements by the end of the year, Russia must give Ukraine control of border controlled currently DNR and LNR. But it may be fatal for two republics. On the other hand, Ukraine according to the same arrangements should provide the republics unprecedented autonomy. And that may be fatal for the current Kiev regime.

It is unclear how the participants of the Minsk process will get out of this situation.
