Two U.S. military transport aircrafts C-17 broked the boundaries of the airspace of Finland. This was stated by the Ministry of defence of the Republic.
American planes, according to the Ministry, referring to the information of the border guard of Finland, was moving from the East and around 17:00 GMT violated the air border of the country to the South of the Aland Islands. As noted, they “were flying over the Finnish territory for more than 15 minutes”.
Currently the border patrol launched an investigation of the incident. Normally it takes a few weeks.
